the charger should be alright to use , but do get some Fresh batts, the capacity from 8 years ago to now has trippled so you can get a pack that will run with more power.

yes the 1/12 scale are faster than anything you have ever seen, and IMO they are the easiest to handle RC cars.

3.7V (4.2V fully charged ) is perfect for this size car especially that the motors...

With The BC-6 you should have received a Balance board adapter. Part # EAC124

Parkzone 7.4V 2 cell 800mAh has a 3 pin balance port that will fit the 3pin corresponding plug on the balance...

Sounds like you may have to cut your losses and remake it as smaller voltage pack.


You may also want to purchase their smaller 4 cell pack and have it for spares.

Yes you can safely charge them it will just take longer, since the CX2 charger should have around 800mAh charge rate.

The wall outlet has a mAh rating, what is it?

these brushless motors are designed and Named to be replacements for the engines sizes they are named for, I would expect similar performance, less all the cleaning , pumping and engine starts.

Look into a pair of brushed GWS fan units like their EDF 55 two of them have good power especially for 22oz plane and should run on 30A ESC and a 2100mAh 11.1V lipo pack

Make sure the trim on the Throttle is set all the way down, some ESC's will not arm if they are not at the lowest point.

Also try another ESC if you can get one or ask for help at local Hobby...

If the motor can handle the 3S lipo I would just go with a 50A brushed ESC.
Brushless motors in EDF units can be just as bad of an Amp hogs as are brushed motors.
