RE: See no alternative - have to go single-speed on my LST2 Track-truck

I don't want to jack your thread, but how come you can't use that single speed hub meant for brushless trucks?

17mm Hexes

I need some 17mm hexes and I don't know if the ones made by Losi are the only hexes I can use. Does anyone use something different?

RE: Dynamite

Hey HerrSavage, how is the Big Red .28? How is it on fuel consumption? It will most likely be my next choice on an engine, but it seems that you have quite a bit of experience with that engine.

Dynamite "Truggy" .26 Mach 2

What is everyone's take on a "truggy" engine in an LST2? I think it would be pretty cool. What do you think about an LST2 racing with one?

RE: TM523 air filter

Keep the filter on. I'm pretty sure it's just super rich. It should be for break-in. Once you start tuning it, it should pick up speed.

2.4 GHz

Do you have to have a 2.4GHz compatible receiver to run a transmitter that is 2.4GHz?

RE: Engine option

Get the Dynamite .19. I've always heard good things about Dynamite engines. I'm dropping one in my Revo when I get the money.

RE: Dual Servos

Actually nevermind on that, I figured it out. But when my trim is at zero, I put my servo savers on and they don't quite line up. And if I use the steering trim to adjust them to be even, then each...

Dual Servos

I have dual steering servos on my LST2 and I'm setting them up, but even with the steering trim at zero, they turn one way more than the other. What's going on?

Fuel

Just a quick question. I've been reading up a lot on whether nitro goes bad or not and I've seen a lot of different opinions. Will putting old fuel in my tank to run adversely effect my engine? ...

RE: Diff Shims

Will the 5mm/6mm actually be used on the diff though? I mean if not, then I won't get it, and in the how-to, there was nothing that had to do with 5mm/6mm shims.

Diff Shims

I think I will need shims for my diffs since I'm getting the upgrade kit for my LST. What set do I need? The set with 5mm/6mm shims or the set with 13mm shims?

Diff Oil

I'm getting the upgrade kit for my LST to convert it to an LST 2. What weight diff oil should I use? I will mostly be bashing in my backyard, but I want to get into racing soon.

RE: HerrSavage

A pair of bulkheads and servo savers that will fit Hitec servos. I think that the AE MGT servo savers are for Hitec servos.
