Carbon fibre is super-tough but hard to cut out and bend, can also put a lot of stress on the screws going through it and into the diff case. Nylon seems much better so far.

Missed this thread. I only have experience of the Carisma (GT24TR), but it's a lot of car for the money! Good controller too.

With 1s lipo and maybe the speed limiter on the TX it should be fine...

The transmitter is massive, the car is small, the battery and charger are tiny. The USB charger can't charge 2S batteries...
