Keep in mind that this MAY work. It seems to me like the Uni's are too long/the aluminum hubs a bit too thick.. I could be completely off base.

Pretty sure that is the HPI locked spool BTW.

I...

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

Here are someshots of the installed Oni-Cam arms versus the stock arm. You can see that the Oni-Cam arm is between a 1/16" and 1/8" longer than the stock arm. I think this may fix your problem.

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

Hmm, I can think of two possible solutions.

The first is if the caliper is the problem then you should shim it in some way or remove it. (I can understand not wanting to remove it as the frake...

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

Nice, those aluminum hubs look real sharp! Are the hubs in the rear too small or too big?

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

I have an exhaust tip but even small bumps on the side of the body knock it off. I've used 3 types of doublesided tape but nothing seems to work. I'm reluctant to use screws since you'd be able to...

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

Thanks! Yep its 190mm. I think a 3mm offset would fit perfect in the rear. Right now I have 6mm offset wheels there and they stick out a little obnoxiously. I'm not sure which HPIbodies come...

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

Jesterspeed -  I think I read somewhere that the stock ESC, EN-1, can handle motors 21 turns and above (according to the manufacturer). Worst case scenario you would need a new ESC if the lower turn...

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

Ok thanks phmaximus! HPI doesn't want people messing around with their spring rates I guess.. The stock spring is rated 175Nf but I can't find one unit of measure that would make sense of this aside...

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

That sucks. I bought the Yeah Racing Universal's hoping they would fit the HPI Locked Spool but I'm sure they won't cuz they are direct replacements for the stock dogbones. Looks like I'm going to...

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

Are the dogbones too big for the cups? If so then you will need to get the HPI universals (which sucks cuz I'm waiting on my rear locked diff and now I'll have to get some universals too).

RE: Official HPI E-10 Thread

What is the spring rate of the spring that comes with the HPI upgrade shocks? Is it the HPI pro linear 13x27mm (238g/mm) red spring? I imagine it would say in the instructions for the shocks but I...
