RE: SIG Super Skybolt ABS T-Deck Repair Question

tukkus,

The Sig Skybolt was designed for a 60 class two-stroke engine. The 46 would fly it but I don't think you would be happy with the performance. You have four engines from the K&B 61 to...

RE: OS FP.60 Bushing replacement

The type of prop used can make a difference. A Master Airscrew black plastic prop has considerable flex which allows the prop to move back and forth and cause the rattling sound. This action can be...

RE: Supertigre 45+ tuned muffler

MyWay,

I have not tried these pprocedures, so I want to understand them better.

I presume "exhaust timing raised" means removing material from the top of the port. Approximately how much...

RE: OS 40 Surpass C 17400rpm

Futaba1024,

Can you provide a picture of the engine? I have the aero version but the 'C' model is obviously different.

Can someone say what is different internally to allow such high RPMs?

RE: OS 46 AX vs Super Tigre G 51

Ed Cregger:

Can you recall the break-in process for the ABC-ring ST Bluehead 60?

I have a ST X45 with the same technology but no instructions and I need some help on break in.

RE: ST X45 RE ABC Ring break in procedure

Are you saying that an ABC ring engine should be broken in the same way as a steel-sleeve ring engine? Doesn't the brass liner require running at a higher speed, say very a rich two-stroke cycle, to...

RE: G500 Parts! Where can I get them? What fits from other Supertigres?

RE: Normal propyl alcohol used as fuel???

In the early days of glow plugs, several companies marketed gasoline-oil fuels that used nitropropane instead of nitromethane. They ran well but would not produce the power of methanol.

RE: Racin Super Tigre 40's

The ST Q500 is an ABC engine with timing modified to improve high RPM for racing.

I haven't seen any advertised in the US for some time. Last seen available was from Just Engines a year ago.
