RE: New Yak 54 3D Fuel/Electric 25 - 45.5"

Has anyone tried this with a Saito .30? I would be very interested in the results.

RE: Prop for OS MAX46AX and Spacewalker

My dad brought me a SpacewalkerII to me to put together for him. He is also using the .46AX. I used this plane as his second trainer. We both really liked the APC 11.5X4 prop with this setup - Great...

RE: 4-stroke parts

I believe the Magnum .61 RFS four Stroke is pretty much a copy of the OS .61 Four Stroke. You might want to see if the carb for the magnum 61 four stroke might work. Here is a link...

RE: 46 engine comparison

If you want approx 1,000 RPM gain on the .46SF then get a "Tower Muffler" and bolt it on. You will easily get the SF up to the power range of the ax & tt on stock mufflers.

Here is a link to...

RE: 46 engine comparison

Just stick with the 46SF, it is a better engine than most of today's .46s. I have a .46 ax and it is also a real nice engine, but if I had a 46SF I would just stay with it. There is not that much...

RE: Getting back into glow, what 46-50 size motor?

It sounds like you are comparing the 12.25 to the 13x4"w" instead of the 13x4 "sport". With .40-class 2-strokes I don't mess with weighing props or measuring RPM's I just go by how they fly. I...

RE: Getting back into glow, what 46-50 size motor?

I do not know, I have never measured it. Spool up is faster than an APC 12.25x3.75, but the top RPM is not as fast as the 12.25x3.75.

BTW, I run 15% Cool Power and a Tower muffler. The...

RE: Getting back into glow, what 46-50 size motor?

I have used OS (AX FX & SX), TT, Royal, Magnum, and Irvine in the .40 to .50 class range. Your TT is a great engine and you should not need anything else.

BUT, if you are looking to get...

RE: OS .46AX muffler choices?

That is not necessarily true. I have an OS 50sx, was running a 12x4 APC sport with a stock pipe and had tried a 13x4 APC sport. The 13x4 was too much for the engine with the stock pipe (very bad...

RE: What is a good muffler for the OS .50 SX?

I get excellent results with the tower muffler on my 50sx. Currently running an APC 13x4 on my 50sx with tower muffler and get outrageous verticle with this setup. Best $15 investment you can make.

RE: Irvine 46 Muffler Screws

Don't know the size, but if the screws you are talking about is the ones used to attach the muffler to the engine then they are the same size as what is used for OS .46AX, FX, .50SX, and tower .46. ...

RE: How much better is the OS 50 than the .46?

I think Mark engines are the same as Moki engines and if so it should be a long stroke engine. I bet that 17.46oz is without the muffler. From what I have read if I were to buy a .61 size engine...

RE: How much better is the OS 50 than the .46?

After having both the .46AX and the .50SX, I can say that I will pay the extra $$$ for the .50SX the next time I get an engine in this size class. Both engines are great, but there is a difference. ...

RE: Saito vs. OS .46 AX

Good Choice, you won't regret it! I have both, the .46ax and .50sx and the 50sx is worth every penny. It is my favorite engine in this class. Try it with an APC 13x4 sport prop. That is what I...

RE: YS 63 FZ RPM

That sounds very weak for a YS .63. I have a Magnum .61 FS that will turn the apc 13x4W 9800-10000 on 15% CoolPower and the APC 13x4 Sport over 10500. Based on what I have seen a YS .63 on 20%...

RE: O.S 46 ax

I have a .46AX and It is absolutely NOT a waste of money. The thirty or so bucks extra is one of the the best investments you can make. The .46AX is the smoothest and easiest to tune .46 sized...

RE: Magnum .61 What Prop

The "W" in 13x4W means "Wide", more specifically I use and reccommend the APC 13x4W wide blade prop. I once tried a Zinger Pro 13x4 wood and found it performed very similar to the APC 13x4 "Sport"...

RE: The 47" Arfs

I would definitely choose a 65" Yak over a Funtana--- period no questions. I would have purchased one (65" Yak) this month, but I had to buy my wife a plane ticket to the UK (1,300.00). Will be...

Sorry about your loss.

You might want to verify that the elevator servo still works, for that matter, you should verify that all the servos still work. It could be that you initially...
