If it means anything, Jetcat is not the only manufacturer that sells turbines without FOD screen.
Jets Munt has them separate.
As does Evojet.
Just a few examples.

So it is not a Jetcat thing.

I must admit I was surprised too. But then again, a fod screen robs power, some people fly without just for the extra oompf.

Yeah, it may be a pain, but it's cheaper / faster to clean the FOD screen than it is to have the turbine serviced.

If your engine ingests a decent sized fly, you are going to have the compressor...

The Opus-V from PAF Modellbau in Germany has been clocked at well over 300 mph.
It does this with a 45N turbine, and flies out of your hand almost like a foamie.

I have no experience with 90 marine pipes and such, I only have F3D....but pipes have a massive impact on how your 2 stroke runs.
Head volume (compression) is the second thing when you change pipes....

The P130-rx now definitely looks like an option, if it really puts out +150N. I fly at about 300ft above sea level, so it should be close.
