RE: Great Planes Reactor ARF .46-.70 - Build Thread

I have been flying mine with a APC 14x4W (wide), this prop works very well for type of A/c. I have picked up some Zinger Pro 14x4's to try, but have not flown it yet. I want to try the wood Zonger...

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

I'm running the FS 70 II, APC 14x4W prop, waiting to try a Zinger Pro 14x4 for kicks, its has good pullout, not a rocket, but good. The money thing was a biggy for me too, I went with the OS for...

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

RE: 2nd plane

I kind of steared a buddy of mine to a Tribute. At $90, its a quick easy building profile, very willing airplane, purhaps more funflyish than 3D, but it can be very forgiving too. So far it has been...

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

Magnum makes a reasonable polished good looking spinner, but again they are all an with wide props. I sure you could trim them, but at the price I not sure I take it on.

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

Ernie, I'm running OS 70 surpass on mine witch is a good 4 oz more than you Satio. With a Satio 82 I'm guessing you'd run an APC 14x4W, or maybe a 15x4w prop. See the link for a Tru turn spinner cut...

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

I dont think you would be able to hover with 46fx, or only just hover and no pullout.

RE: Great Planes Reactor ARF .46-.70 - Build Thread

only holes in the side are for my needle valves, the OS inside adapter keeps it well away from the inside (side) of the cowl.

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

I used Rocket city ball links at the control horns and z bends at the servo, not the supplied plastic clevis and 90' bend/clevis supplied. Otherwise all supplied hardware.

I flew mine today! ...
