thats cool, I have not tried a ball diff swap between the two. I do realize several parts do swap, but I still maintain that the FXT was a far superior truck to a Blitzer IMO. I cant wait to get mine...

Yes, they were a joint venture between Futaba and Tamiya. Futaba only built the FXT, and the FX-10. I bought an FXT brand new in 1991...

First truck was a Tamiya King Cab, I absolutely LOVED that truck, I actually placed second in a trophy race in 1989 against all the high dollar trucks from that year... :D cant remember exactly what...

They shared chassis with the Hilux race truck, but thats it...If you have ever owned or especcially driven a KC, you would understand the following, plus, it was a VERY significant truck in Tamiyas...

Actually the front shocks are just custom spring shocks, no oil, if I end up keeping it I will probably try to find some oil shocks for the front.

I have my eye on a King Cab, thats the reason...

I just finished a Hornet that I picked up on Ebay about 8 years ago, got it in a box lot of parts, transmitters, extra parts, etc, I never messed with it since then, until a few weeks ago. got it...

which is a better deal?

I have an opportunity to buy 2 MRC mt10 trucks, one is RTR, and the other is a roller, both are complete and in nice condition, both for $90 total.
The other is a beautiful race modified rc10 T3...
