RE: Hangar 9 Fokker DVII

I use small springs with pre-formed end loops I got from Northern Tool. They just go in the stock location that the O rings would use.

RE: 1/4 scale Citabria don't want to turn

Use the vertical with an Immelmann turn to change direction 180 degrees & keep it over the landing zone till you sort it out.

RE: new speed brake idea ... what do u guys think ?

I would use F-86, Mig-15 style speed brakes & build then into the rear sides of the plane. A single servo could drive them.

RE: General Hobby Piper J-3 Cub 60 81' ARF

Agree, have a large Super Cub 102” WS & its not a beginners plane.

IMHO if you go with a big trainer (big is a good plan) my first choice would be the regular version of the Senior...

RE: WHAT IS THE MINIMUM WING SPAN FOR BEGINNER HIGH WING TRAINER?

Eflite Apprentice 58"ws
Senior Telemaster 94"ws
Super Senior (Sig Kadet Senior) 73"ws

In a trainer, bigger is better. More stable, easier to see its orientation & will fly very slowly so...

RE: Electric Retracts; good, bad, or no opinion

Good as long as you match the retract to the plane weight with a good margin. With a small margin these retracts will support a 10lb plane. Total cost for the Fw190 was $66+ shipping

DUH, looking at the size of the table I should have realized it was the big one. :( One afternoon the telemetry on Bobs plane posted some very impressive numbers on a series of low passes.
