The stock hellfire shocks arent to bad if you cant find the ones you want. Ensure you have the alloy caps and not plastic.

I used a couple of washers to lift the back plate up slightly so it didnt hit the chasis. Was on my old hellfire with a lrp28. Snug it down and was all good.

For bashing a LRP 28 goes great in a hellfire. If you are getting the pullstart version you mite have to raise the engine slightly with washers or similar or the pullstart backplate hits the chasis....

I had never ending diff problems with the stock pinion/crown using modded os28s no matter how i shimmed. Put the gst diffs in and never ever an issue.

Thats what i did. I initially had a rtr which kept breaking so i got an ss and used the rtr for spare parts. The ss was alot better quality.

I lost my mid range needle when i first got the rtr...

I think it has. They died out very quick. Not many seem to be running them anywhere. Iam gunna bash tomorrow with mine. They are very tuff. Great fun with an os18tz ripping. Id still prefer to bash...

The gst diffs are super tuff. Great upgrade. Shim them right and forget about them.

Check all you drivetrain parts. Grub screws, pins etc. Is your clutchbell or spur gear stripped?

Give it a try. 5/7/3 like you probably ran in your buggy. If your just bashing will be ok. Iam running2/?/1 at the moment. I cant remember whats in the centre.
Any suggestions for good bashing...

Take it from my experience. The hellfire sux. The ss has some good points but many bad points.The hellfire pinions/crown are crap. They wear out very easy. The grub screws in the driveline falling...
