RE: Toledo 2007 was,,,,ok,,(sigh),,

At first I thought this was funny...then I realized the awful truth of it.
Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

RE: Toledo 2007 was,,,,ok,,(sigh),,

You are right about that part of it. But in this area at least Toledo all the workers that work for the city belong to a union. It just about makes me sick to listen to these guy's that work for the...

RE: Toledo 2007 was,,,,ok,,(sigh),,

I pretty much come to that same conclusion last year. I really did enjoy going to swap meets, but i am not going to pay the same price for a 5 year old engine, that I could buy a brand new one for or...

RE: Toledo 2007 was,,,,ok,,(sigh),,

((Particularly disappointing is the swapmeet. I see many of the same people bringing the same JUNK back year after year after year!!! )) You nailed that one. I am not even sure it is worth the effort...

RE: Toledo 2007 was,,,,ok,,(sigh),,

To address your other point about the house's that are being built south of Maumee and West it is truly amazing. I will never be able to understand where the people come from that can afford these...

RE: Toledo 2007 was,,,,ok,,(sigh),,

There's alot of builders in this area going belly up. The pace of new construction in Perrysburg and Sylvania has slowed to a crawl. The really amazing thing is the number of foreclosures. You see...

RE: Toledo 2007 was,,,,ok,,(sigh),,

You would have to live in the Toledo Metro area as I do to really understand just how bad things really are in this town. Toledo has lost so much manufacturing over the past few years, the tax base...

RE: Toledo 2007 was,,,,ok,,(sigh),,

RE: Observation From One Member

You made my point completely. Your exact words (Columns alone average 5 for R/C and 2 for FF and maybe 3 for CL.) Is that not a 50/50 split? What do you think the percentage of flyers is out there?...

RE: Observation From One Member

I can say I agree with your points. I hate to keep on hammering the AMA magazine, but it's going right back to where it was a couple years ago. If your not into CL or FF and did not know any other...

RE: Is this the end of HIGH PRICES by Hobby Companies?

I have been saying that there is price fixing going on in the R/C hobby for years. I have heard more excuses for it than I can count. This is one of many things that have driven so many people out of...

I am sure that you can find almost any AMA member that might have an issue with AMA. But why try to swim up-stream. Joining is easy and not really all that expensive. Join for a year or two. If down...

RE: AMA Claim and recovery stories

Does the Casey Rowe incident ring any bells from 2 1/2 years ago. AMA has been fighting that claim tooth and nail. It still is not settled. I have never hear of anyone that had a claim settled with...

RE: Nov. MA mag heli confusion

Hi Red, love your battery column. Am I understanding you correctly. If I write an article and send it in to MA it could get published? This is not a flame. Just an honest question.

I have to admit float's on an Outlaw is pretty cool. That's the last place I would ever expect to see floats. What did you do about the CG problem with the extra motor on the front of the Outlaw in...
