Never been a fan of the savages, on the other hand I have owned numerous revos. A 3.3 revo with either the stock engine or an os .18 is just an awesome truck. I have also owned an MGT, which is okay...

I would just add a tall rollbar that way the car is very unlikely to stay on its top. Its one thing I love about my buggy. Due to it being very narrow with a tall wing, even when I do roll it about...

RE: How Many Amps Does My ESC Need?

80amp is good for motors a little lower in kv for a 1/8 buggy. I reccomend shooting for a hobbywing 150a if you want price vs. performance. It is okay to run a larger esc than neccessary.

RE: 5000mah 2S Charging

Its taking so long because chargers begin to decrease amps at the end of the charge. Once the battery reaches 8.4V it decreases amps until the battery rest on 8.4V by itself. If your in a rush you...

RE: 1/10 Traxxas Rally- First Thoughts

never drove the vxl in a 4x4 vehicle but I felt like the vxl was pretty powerful in my rustler when I had it. I now run turnigy 80amp with the 3000kv motor and it loves 3s. Slow on 2s but can still...

16/86 sounds like a pretty good place to start for the titan system...if it ran cool you could try another 2 teeth but if it runs good it runs good ya know. sounds like it ran good. im running 13/54...

RE: What is a good motor/ESC for Savage XS SS?

DO NOT put a vxl in the savage. it will either run hot or be slow. with a strict budget of 200 I definitely recommend the hobbywing setup 2 post above mine. it is a lot more motor than the vxl.

RE: Great Monster Truck for Grass?

I hate traxxas new higher prices, but traxxas is good the rustler being one of my favorite. Sounds to me like you really want a monster truck or a truggy. Both are going to be a lot more expensive...

RE: Advice for beginner budget - 300 to buy a new RC

If I had that budget for a new truck I would probably go with something like the team associated t4.1 brushless and a decent 2s lipo. I have used a lot of the zippy lipo batteries from hobbyking with...

RE: Rc8.2e rtr

A few notes. I run a 5000 20c 4s in my buggy which has a 66amp rated motor and 80amp speed control. My batteries usually run about 105 in 75-80F heat. Just some source of comparision. Ive heard 140...

RE: Rc8.2e rtr

I think he means 4s lipos that he cant charge. Not 4c. I think your batteries should be fine without high speed gearing 42x2.5 is 105amps. probably the bare minimum for that setup but should be fine...

RE: New Slash 4x4 owner with some Shock and battery questions.

well now that I think of it, I had aluminum towers on my rustler. mostly because my truck spent alot of time on its lid from 3s power wheelies down the street.

RE: New Slash 4x4 owner with some Shock and battery questions.
