You will pick up 1500-2000 rpm with the mousse can pipe setup. I dont know the demensions of the one they picture.
You may want to try the 8.5x7.5 APC prop on that set up. It has a bit more thrust...

The 46 will weigh quite a bit. This plane is designed for a .25. The .32 fits the bill since it weighs close to the .25.

Do you have an all up weight for the model? What motors do you recommend? .25 ? .32? 40.?

Jerry is selling plans again.
He gave the rights to Chris Henson at Extreme flight to ARF these at one time. Chris said that he would have the prototypes in early 2007. Looks like that never...

I maidened it today! still was a little hot on the rates. Takes everybit of 75% expo. You need all you can get.

All balanced- had to add 1.75 oz of lead to the tail to get it to balance.

Does anyone have any throw suggestions for the elevons?
I do remember 75% expo was mentioned somewhere?

I think I would rather buy a new webra .36 for $109 than invest $57 in a new heli carb.
Thanks for the advice rocketman. I just dont want a spare carb hanging around if I can get a motor for $109.

I scanned the plans and drew up the parts in my computer.
Then I have a friend with a laser cutter, that cut the ribs for me.
