Hello, Sorry for the late response. The Outlaw...

Hello,
Sorry for the late response. The Outlaw was designed around a Webra 32 or OS 32 with a Mouse Can pipe. Your Jett would be a good performer. Good luck and post some photo's

RE: Solutions

Try posting a Want Ad here on RCU. Maybe someone has a set to sell. The 46ax will work with the engine mounted upright.

Sweet.
It will be interesting to see what the ARF weight will be and if they go with the elevon servos on the bottom.

RE: Solutions

Mark,

I remember having the same problem but just sanded the rib tip or end to fit in the "frame" better and line up with the stringers. Your plans are off more than mine were. Make each rib...

Glad to hear all went well. Crank the expo to 100% on high rates that really helps. The roll rate is insane, wait till you try flat spins and snap rolls LOL.

She will really dance with these throws on high and be comfortable with precision on low rates. You can always go for more when you get use to her. It's really easy to overcorrect at WOT[X(] I'll...

RE: Solutions

Yes. Order the "Heli" carb and drop it in. A friend fly's his with this setup and it's sweet. The side mounted engine is a must for the "cool factor" and reduced drag IMHO:D

RE: Solutions

The 645's are what I used in mine and are an excellent choice. To do some of the snaps, blenders and other moves you really need some muscle.

Price is right on them too.

RE: Solutions

The Outlaw was built around the Webra 32. It fits "like a glove" :D The wing has a thicker airfoil than a DD or Whiplash so that will be a limiting factor on speed. Weight is an issue and they can...

RE: Solutions

Bob,

1/8 for the ribs is right. When using the 3M just give it a light "Dusting" so the paper sticks well but will peel off easy lifting the edge with a knife blade.

RE: Solutions

Bob,

Cutting out the ribs and firewall should not be a big deal. I folded my plans and made photocopies of all the "to cut" wood and then cut them out a little larger, used 3M spray adhesive and...
