You can make a spacer to fit in the landing gear holes and let the 10x32 bolt fit inside the spacer.

36% Katana question- splitting ailerons in two

Has anyone split the ailerons on the Katana in half? (aileron-outboard+flaperons-inboard)
If so how did it perform?
Are the ailerons built up foam-planked or balsa rib-plank construction?

I just bought a new da100 and called them up also on oil questions.

For the first 3-5 gallons run at 32 to 1 then switch to synthetic and run 100 to 1, 80 to 1 is a little rich on the oil side....

I have 2 pjs1000's, they both put out measured thrust of 48oz (3lb's) with 11x4.7 apc prop, 3 cell lipo 2100, cc45 SC.
This is measured at 5000 feet elevation. the 1200 will put out even more...

It comes with just the backplate. Long standoff mounts are not recommended by DA.
Give them a call and they will discuss your setup.

with no prop it has no air flow to cool the motor.
I ran a himax with no prop and it will get warm,
with a prop/gearbox on to move air it stays cool.

put it in a 22oz converted biplane slow stick and it moves.
it is faster than the himax...
