RE: First FE flex/strut - OK?

Start with a small prop and work your way up, lest you may smoke the ESC. Ryan will tell you to run for 30-45 seconds and check temps. This is a pain but you need to know where you are and with a...

RE: Aquacraft Motley Crew Video

Is this the boat that they were working on a year ago? Did it just come out? Surprising there isn't more hype about it. Look's like a solid runner. Guessing it will be comparable to MG? I'm not...

RE: my First scratch build

That little piece should do nothing to hurt the handling of the boat. My at stregnth. You can always remove it later.

RE: Scratch Build - 29

I agree. That's a clean looking boat. Looks like glass after you painted. What's the power and what type of speeds do you see?

RE: Scratch Build - 29

Agreed. Your approach is less costly too. I'll put it back together as is. Just seeing these Geico's running in the 50's has got me thinking. This hull is capable of it. It looks way stable on...

RE: Scratch Build - 29

Well I need to repair the hull which will in all likelihood make the boat somewhat heavier - and ultimately slower (which I can't live with). The jump to 6S would effectively counter that. Also I'm...

RE: Scratch Build - 29

beginning the rebuild of this boat and ofcourse this is an opportunity to change things. Will the CC hydra handle 6S, assuming I have to put a reciever pack on it.

RE: Guys I want to a bad ***** cat on lipo...

you'll be fine. My first was a SV27 and then I built a cat. I don't think they are any harder to set up and or drive than a V hull. Just watch the head winds. :)

RE: Winter running in snow...

I would have never guessed that it would run that well. Guess you don't need water cool for your ESC/motors?
How fast is that boat on water?

RE: For your enjoyment (video)

that's probably the best video I've seen on here. Looks totally scale. I guess venom has a better boat than the EKOS cat. I figured this would do better. Nice work.

RE: building the boats 75cm +/-

Should be arround 30K with 3S, which is good, but at that legnth (almost 30") you may want to consider a 4S setup. I don't know what you desire for speed, but your options are better at 4S. Just my...

RE: Had to laugh

Thanks new2. Nice to know that you appreciated it as much as I do. It's fixable but fall is busy with other stuff, so I'll get it strait this winter and hopefully be ready for the spring. We...

RE: Had to laugh

Funny thing is those kids will be there next week telling some guy with a sail boat that there was a boat that was here last week that was going 90mph! I miss it. I need to get my cat fixed.

RE: Miss Geico 29 Catamaran

careful. Prop from a big nitro is likely not ideal for the little brushless beast. Do you know the specs of the TC prop?

RE: rx tx

I have a hytek 3CH FM radio and reciever. Where can I go to buy more recievers that will work for this system. Should I stick with hytek or can I cross brands and still expect good performance?
