Os-46

I use 15% nitro in all my engines. The 46 fx is a good engine, but you have a little to much prop on it. For racing I use a 9x7 and for sport I use a 10x7.

fox glow plgs

I also used Fox plugs, the Pro8s. The last card I bought had a problem. The tops blew out on 8 of the 12 plugs. Fox didn't really seem to care, so now I am back to the expensive OS plugs.

old servos

I see no problem using old servos. Do it all the time. Some of my throttle servos are 35 years old and work just fine. Have occasionally used them on rudder on smaller aircraft.

Full size aircraft generally place a short aileron on the outboard part of the wing. If I use a short one I put a barn door one out to the tip.

horizon hobbies service

How the heck does Horizon make money on repairs? They have the best service I ever seen in repair work and so far hasn't cost me a thing. They must have chimps working for bananas.
