There aren't a lot of parts in the kit.... wing ribs... formers and sides for the body.... grab the templates file and make it yourself would be my advice. There should be templates for the landing...

it only presents a problem if you completely seal it inside of aluminum. I have an aluminum covered B-17 that flies with no radio issues.

you can always test yourself, put a radio and servo...
