I haven't tried one yet, but it looks like it would be good for the r/c bodies. It's like a nozzle you'd see on a paint gun, but scaled down. Supposed to give you 2 1/2 - 3 inch pattern.

The talon is a sweet gun....did you get the fan nozzle with it? I've been using a devillebiss dagr or an iwata hp-c and a touch up gun for any bodies, lexan or injection molded. Using auto-air...

I had a K&B 3.5 outboard that would sometimes start backwards. Kind of odd to throw it in the water and have it come back!!

the beam is 10" and the length from the tip of the sponson to the transom is 34". I thought about making the keels a bit sharper...I don't know? I've got a .40 K&B laying around doing nothing.

As long as it's the same length, size and thread, it'll work fine. Should be able to pick one up from your lhs, or auto specialty store. If the drive pattern bugs you, just get 4 and replace them all.

I found that as soon as the spur gear started wearing, it would jump and break the stabalizer mount on the diff. Never had a problem with the engine moving. My biggest concern about the spur gear is...

I've got an st-15. I think the most important thing to do to this truck if you get one is swap out that craptacular spur gear and replace it with a thunder tiger 46 tooth steel main gear ( # AD2454...
