Had a great day with the Wind.... Five flights... Finally getting it dialed in. Tweaked the differential on the ailerons and elevator and I'm happy with those now. Changed props...now running an APC...

I'll be the first to admit that I get carried away on my linkages sometimes. But like Joe said we all have our own way of doing things and...what makes us happy...what we're comfortable with...etc....

Morning guys......

Lab..it's a 5 inch H9 4-40 pro link on the rudder with Dubro 4-40 ball links. The servo could have been turned around to use a shorter push rod but the 5 inch was all I had....

Getting the CG far enough aft seemed to be a common theme in this thread so that's why I mounted mine back there as well. I'm running 8S and it balanced easily...

I have my rudder servo mounted in the tail with a pushrod that goes to a horn mounted in the bottom of the rudder and it works just fine. I don't think you'll have any issues at all.....

Some don't like the look but if you do I had good luck painting the inside of my canopy with Pactra "Paint for R/C cars". I think I did three coats (silver) lightly misted on....

I'm using the Ice 100 on 8 cells and the BEC Pro in my Wind 110. No separate pack for the RX and servos.
But having said that, I will never, ever criticize anyone for using whatever makes them...
