Looking to see if anyone is aware of a source for 1/5 scale or larger Mohawk plans? This looks to be a rarely modeled aircraft and can only find references for small electric or glow versions. Thanks...

Airtronics Aquila

Would you be willing to accept $200 shipped? This particular plane is very sentimental to me as it was my first RC airplane.

Thanks for your consideration

All of the build details and specifications such as control throws, CG, wing incidence and engine incidences can be found on Ziroli's web site under each plan offered.

Looks like Ziroli is also offering a short kit and they have it available now. This should be a great flier like the other Ziroli's.

New Ziroli Spitfire

Has anyone seen the new Ziroli Spitfire? Span is 100" and looks like the plans allow for several model variations (MK I - V). They are also offering lots of accesories. This could be a great model.

RE: Need spruce

Guys, another great source is SIG. I get all of my spruce from them. A 1/4x1/2x48 stick is $2.09. They have many other sizes as well, take a look.

RE: Skinny Dip

Justin, you alternate the darkness of the panels two ways. First, the more you buff on the powder the shinier more polished look you will get. Also, if you change the direction of which way you are...

RE: Skinny Dip

Peter, do you have actual panels on the plane already? In other words, panels created using chart tape or another method? I mask off lining up with the panels. Perhaps this hides any masking lines....
