RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

I think the bearings started going to pasture in my Ammo. Boca's part number for Ammo 3900 replacements is #BMK-010. Mine has about a year and a half runtime on it though. Having my own track, I...

RE: Which Mamba Brushless system? 5400kv or 6800kv on my RC18mt?

I'll sell you this for $75.00 shipped. It has less than 10 min run time. I bought it for my Mini-T and ran it once on my track. The steering assembly was wore out and broke. I bought a Vendetta ST...

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

Here is an awesome upgrade for your ST. Boca Econo Ceramic bearings. We all like to upgrade to brushless motors and everything else, but we sometimes neglect the bearings. Boca sells this kit for...

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

Our indoor racing season has started, and I would like to try some different tires/wheels. I've read through the tire test forum that was posted, but I guess I'm a tad confused. The conditions will...

RE: Best crawler in MICRO scale - help!

+1
If it weren't for my recent purchase, and awaiting arrival of another outdoor mini, I would purchase the Losi Mini Rock Crawler in a heartbeat. Perfect for indoors!!!

RE: My Mini Track - pics

Reminds of a KY RCP Series design we had a couple years ago, almost identical. Run it, great thing about mini tracks, is they don't require a ton of work to make changes.:D

RE: Will a ball diff help minimize my sliding out?

Could have, no doubt. Depends on the shape of the foams. I can't remember how old my foams were the first time I noticed, that a balancing was needed. If the 1/8th scalers' are doing it, it only...

RE: Will a ball diff help minimize my sliding out?

Actually I noticed a huge difference on the Mini-T. Holding it in the palm of my hand while nailing the throttle, it would almost fall out of my hand. Smooth as glass afterwards, plus it drove like a...

RE: Will a ball diff help minimize my sliding out?

You'll see, spool-up the wheels when you think you have them balanced. Hold your mini when you do. You'll know if they are balanced.

RE: Will a ball diff help minimize my sliding out?

Something that alot of mini runners fail to do is balance their wheels. Balance your wheels, and you have a brand new beast!!! Handling improves 10 fold. It also improves wear and tear of ALL your...

RE: Mini REVO and Mini Slayer are coming !!!!!!

Most of us will still upgrade it (Revo), even though it will be very stout in stock form. Hinge-Pins, pillowballs etc. I wonder if they will release a center diff kit for it???[8D]

RE: My Mini Track - pics

That's our sycamore tree, provides alot of shade in the summer. Two to three weeks during the fall it drops it's leaves. I use a leaf blower to clean my track of any debrit. I always water first...

RE: My backyard track

I've lived on the same spot for over 35 years. Our piece is undeveloped, with plenty of good topsoil. My nieghbors all live in a development of homes, and their yards are crap, because all of the...

Very true, and I would assume that soil purchased out west would be clean of any rocks etc. I'm also assuming that water would help any soil pack

RE: Mini REVO and Mini Slayer are coming !!!!!!

Glad I found this thread. Traxxas is a marketing company, and for them to dive into the 1/16th market is really cool. I hope it grows and we start seeing 1/16th scale racing on the rise. I too sold...

RE: My backyard track

Yup, that's why I said "good dirt". Shredded top-soil shapes and packs easier, and it's less maintenance to boot.

RE: My Mini Track - pics

I never have a flipping problem with small pebbles. The problem is a 'kicking sideways' un acceleration, or an unexpected veer off of the line. When it gets bad enough, I break out the garden weasle...

RE: My backyard track

I can free dirt alot of places, but most of it is nothing I would want in my yard. The only dirt I want in my yard is shredded top-soil. This way, if I ever decide to not play with R/C cars anymore,...

RE: My backyard track

Get a tamper. Even after you tamp it, it will still be bumpy, but you won't have all the little pebble-size, pieces of dirt and/or rock upsetting your mini. You'll be surprised by the difference and...
