i have tried bow ties, sport max and zombie max, in loose conditions and the zombies out perform all others. I use maximizer x.75 beadlocks and have never broken one.

from what you describe it sounds like your clutch is engaging to early.
did toy change clutch or springs with new engine? What kind are you using. Did you put the shoes on in the right direction?...
