I'll admit that radials and inline engines with 3 or more cylinders do sound good even in modelflying sizes. Single cylinder, not so much.

Much of the small weight saving probably came from using less glue. I suppose it isn't necessary to have glue everywhere. Just a pattern that doesn't have very big gaps.

I've heard about digital servos sometimes trying to center but overshooting, unless you damp them somehow.

Outerzone gets lots of different plans, and they are all sent in by people like us. I don't think Steve himself does much scanning. Some are scans from very old stuff, or even from magazines....

The people who scan the plans, and the nice people of Outerzone, try to ensure the plans are correct and accurate....
