RE: Large scale Warbirds

CompARF P-51, F4U, P47

There are many other European makers as well. it really depends on how much $ you are willing to spend. The 100-150 does tend to limit your choices. Most are 50cc to 85cc.

RE: ESM Dornier DO 335

"Straight as an arrow" I have seen a couple of kit builts fly. They seem to have an interesting roll and are a little fast on landing, but that plane is beautiful in the air and the two engines stir...

RE: FMS 800mm mini P51

Torque rolling and stall character. I am assuming you are putting full throttle to it when you are taking off. Ease the power on slowly until you reach enough speed to take off. It should not need...

RE: What Servo to use for big Warbirds, Why ??

High end JR's. The resolution locks the airplane in and does not let it wonder. I have used others and you can input minor stick movement and then....nothing....nothing....then the servo's move. If...

RE: Topflite p47 ARF Razorback Conversion with DA 85

You will love the DA-85 on the plane. I have been flying my ARF tarheel hal for about 5 months with the motor. I used a Biela 4 blade for a while and have moved back to a three blade. Tons of speed...

RE: Why can't anyone figure out how to fly with a scale prop?

Not 100% true to scale on the P-47, but there have received many comments on the ground as well as in the air. The FW-190 is a scale prop for ground only and I change it for flight, but the P-47 is a...
