RE: Losi Super Truck Pictures

Did you ever weigh them, I've hear rumors of 500grams?? I might go with the HPI Terrapins as they are 330gram per wheel/tire and yet still 7" tall.

RE: Losi Super Truck Pictures

What is the name and part number on those giant pin tires and how much do the wheel/tires weigh each? They look like giant truggy wheels, I'd like to get some if they are light.

RE: Official Muggy thread

I have an Aftershock (now its pretty much an XXL) and have had in the past an E-Maxx and Revo. I also recently purchased D8T and love the way it handles. The Muggy I picked up drives really odd. It...

RE: Official Muggy thread

You might just need a really thin spacer so that only the inner bearing race sits against the chassis. If the whole bearing (inner and outer) sits against the chassis it will act as a 1 solid piece...

RE: Official Muggy thread

I saw that rail mod on the lst forum, that's a great idea. I'm going to do that this week. Even with smaller tires I wouldn't mind more gearing for where we are at. We dont need top speed and would...

RE: Official Muggy thread

Clutch looks good, could be tuning as this was a first run. We need the GC as we live on an acreage and it's winter.
With proper gearing the larger diameter wheels can be compensated for.

RE: Official Muggy thread

Just picked up a used Muggy. Its running a LRP 28 and the 46spur with a 13CB. It has some badlands on it and is a bit slow off the line. He also included a 12T CB. Since there is lots of snow and we...

RE: Converting an Aftershock To an LST XXL?

I got an Aftershock for $150 Canadian last year the week before Christmas. It ran great but had a cracked rail - good excuse to go XXL. I picked up the XXL chassis and diffs with the longer shafts...

RE: Does anyone make a 20mm hex adapter for the Revo/Maxx axles?

I'm just bashing our stock 2.5R with my kids and wanted a big tire/wheel combo with some offset. The LST2 wheels put it as wide as the RPM Stablemaxx wheels.

Stock E-Maxx wheels/tires...

RE: Does anyone make a 20mm hex adapter for the Revo/Maxx axles?

Hey, thanks a lot for that. I wish I saw them before I fidled around with the LST2 20mm hexes with an 8mm axle. Looks like those ones will work great since they have a 6mm axle.

I just recieved a lightly used and in great condition .18TM.

With my 2.5R I did some of the minor sleeve/port & crank mods that have been floating around these sites. It worked great and...

RE: Why no backplates with bearings??

I can see the internals using a bushing as in the con-rod since it gets lubricated by the oil in the fuel, but the starting shaft does not. I suppose a pure racer would use a starter box and not need...

Why no backplates with bearings??

After taking apart my 2.5R to seal it up I noticed that the backplate with the ez-start is just a brass bushing. Now since the shaft is attached to the crank it turns at the same speed as the engine....

RE: Finally I Finished My Track Revo!!!!! MORE PICS ADDED!!!!!!

Very clean and nice looking pair of Revo's.

Could you tell me more about the 20mm Losi adapters on a Revo. Do they fit pretty well as in axle size, no slop at all?

Also how would stock...

Are there any glaring exclusions of motors that are just not worth the trouble in...

My spring broke right at the ends. One of the loops was no longer there. In a pinch I bent a loop back in place conected them together and it has held for a while now.

Omega X3 .26 from Savage fit a Revo ??

RE: Friend just got a Baja 5B, how can I upgrade my REVO and beat him?

I was running a 14/40 combo at the time.

Seemed that the Baja still pulled through the rough choppy sand better with its torque and midrange.

We will see when we get on the...

RE: Friend just got a Baja 5B, how can I upgrade my REVO and beat him?

That is far away for me right now because of the expense.

Friend just got a Baja 5B, how can I upgrade my REVO and beat him?

I have a stock Revo 2.5.

My friend just got an HPI Baja, and in stock form it walks away from my 2.5 pretty easy.

I know they are different scales but it would be nice to surprise him...
