How do I fit a pinned flat hinge neatly?

A trick I use for the petroleum jelly is to melt a little bit in a spoon and then dip the pin of the hinge. This way I make sure the petroleum jelly penetrates.

CA hinges and probond

I have not tried and I do not think I would try. Polyurethane glues expand alot while drying. How do you plan to get it in the hinge slot and then put the hinge in? What is wrong with CA?
