The READY II is an Italian brand called ARC, the plane is made of plastic and Ah Wee has it. Nice to fly, 'fun' to build.

Hi Y'all

Finally finish building my TT Piper J-40. I heard many comment that it flies like a cow but what to do, already bought the plane before asking for comments. That's why I like it here...can ask before buying.

Guess what engine is on it??? Hehe, I put my Rossi 61 2 stroke in it. Initially I thought of having a TT Pro 61 but the stock muffler just couldn't clear and I do not have any spare 4 strokers.

Now for some advise on how to fly this cow. It seems that you have to mix the aileron and rudder to turn. I have a Sanwa RD8000 radio but lost the instruction liao. Some one pls help......

What type of prop can I use for flying? Will be using homemade 0% fuel.

As for the MT 3D Magic, I used a MAS 12x4 on the Webra 40 and it spins at 10K rpm. Ok only la....no unlimited vertical but landing is very nice. The Webra idles at 2000rpm on 5% fuel.

You sure are lucky to have such a nice place to fly. Are there any giant scale planes being flown there. In the link, I saw a video of someone flying a boeing..is that a ducted fan plane? Sure looks nice.

I have a CMpro Extra 72" WS but cant fly it yet as our flying field is getting worse. People are starting to throw their unwanted furniture there and the runway is getting shorter as it actually an laterite access road. The lorries that uses that road is making it worse and the rainy season is not helping either.

What engine are you using in the Edge?

Brambus, why not try something thats true and tested, like the Scanner low wing, its was my 2nd plane, and a lot of the local flyers used it as their second plane. No bad habits at low speed, easy and smooth landings, yet very aerobatic. and only cost 300 per plane.

What exactly is the reason for your crashes? Maybe we can help you get over it

And do use the sim more. I only flew my trainer for 3 days, day 2 and 3 were nothing more than takeoff, circuit and land, which i had practised on the sim a lot, to get comfortable twith the stick movements. Are you finding it difficult to land the high wing trainer coz it seems to float and doesnt want to descend to the ground smoothly?? if thats it, don't worry, I never got my trainer landed perfectly, as i hated the way it ballooned onlanding, the scanner was so easy to land as it just greases itself in. If you were flying during the week at kota damansara you would have seen one of the guys flying it in the morning.

Ceke - hello how can the Webra 40 throw a 12x4? That is totally off la ... you want something like a 10x6 for a 40 sized engine, you may also go for the 11x5. Not a 12x4 la, that is why you are getting 10K RPM, you wanna prop her to about 13K, its a 2C engine and not 4C. ALso, fly the SuperChipmunk la of not send it back to me please!!!

Errr..... so far I didnt notice anyone here flying a boeing. But we do get a lot of low flying boeings and airbuses passing by...

So far the largest planes we have here are those 29~30% scale.

I am using a Supertigre G2300 engine on the edge.

I believe that the Rossi will turn a 12x8 happily ... is it with a pipe? The engine needs to be propped to run at about 12,000 RPM.

Way to go man!!! Now that you've learned how to land, the ADDICTION will begin as you will CRAVE for NEW planes. Very soon it will be for MORE planes. And by the time you realised it, you will have a HOUSE FULL of planes...haha.
