Boomerang w/ JetCat P70
I am looking to sell my Boomerang Sprint. I had picked it up in hopes in a year or two (when I got more experience) that I would be able to fly this. There was a pilot at my local field who had said he was going to help me and then went back on his word. So I'm looking to sell this now. Maybe in the future I will get another one, but for now, it doesnt make sense for me to just have it here sitting.
I bought this jet used. I have never personally flown it before. The person who I bought it from started it up and ran it through from idle to full throttle and she's as smooth as can be.
I do not have the equipment to be able to start the plane for you, however I give my word that the motor works and does very well. It currently has a JR receiver in it with DSM protocol. I do not have the 2s battery for the turbine, I was only given the LiFe battery for the electronics. Which is old and I was planning on buying a new one anyhow. The connections for the two battery's are MPX. Those with the experience can switch them over to deans or your preferred connector fairly easily I'm sure.
The Monokote is not in the best shape and it looks a bit ruff. There's wrinkles in it, as well as (maybe?) what looks to be like aluminum tape. However when I purchased it from its last owner, I did not care as it was a great deal and have heard these planes fly amazing. So for a first turbine I was thinking function over beauty.
Jet cat has only 9 hours on it. It runs on kerosene and oil mix.
In all honesty, I've never shipped a plane before and this didn't come with a box, so pick-up/meeting half way, if it's a long distance drive, is preferred. I do not want to take the chance of the plane being hurt from my ignorance. I am located in Illinois. About 35 minutes west of Chicago.
I am looking for cash, or would consider trades of equal value. I'm big into EDF jets, so anything 70mm, 80mm, 90mm, will do a straight up trade for something from HSDJets. Or/and a big gasser plane of equal value. Would prefer EDFs for the most part though, and no I will not trade for one single 70mm either haha. What ever is taken in trade has to equal the value.
Should you have any questions, feel free to message me here or reply to this thread.

Also I did want to point out, I did use the photos I was sent before I bought the plane as these were better than ones I got. If you’re interested, I can take more photos to show that the plane is in the same condition. Thanks for checking it out

My Feedback: (18)
let's have some fun and do a RCFanatic, Warbird_1, AAbdu threesome.
I want the Cheetah 160, but already have an Elan so don't want the Sprint, but I do have three super sweet EDFs I have never flown that I would trade for the Sprint to get the Cheetah.
Freewing F-14 (twin 80mm)
Freewing A-10 (twin 80mm)
Banana Hobby Mig-29 (twin 70mm)
All built mint condition and RTF
Would include 4 brand new 6S 55C batteries for the 80mm
and 2 x 3S batteries for the Mig-29
Thoughts?

sounds like a plan, however, where are you located? And what receivers do they have?

Within reasonable driving distance of you in Michigan (Eastern). I'm about 3.5 hours from Chicago. as luck would have it I am between you and Warbird 1. If we met half way it would only be about a 2 hour drive at Most. I drive that far one way to fly in Sandusky on the weekend.
Receivers would not be included, that is pretty standard on here. In case curiosity is killing you, Two have Airtronics receivers, and one has a Futaba. Which is Ironic because I don't really fly either since I moved over to Jeti. The receiver thing is not really that big of a deal.
If Warbird_1 still wants the sprint we can do the deal no problem. I can send pics if you want, just send me an email address. Better yet, PM me a phone # and I will text them to you.
Taking this conversation out of the public forum, I will PM you both
