Default Philip Avonds F-15

I have a Philip Avonds F-15 that is almost completely built and primed, it just needs the vertical fins installed and your equipment and your choice of paint scheme. Very nicely built and reinforced in all the critical areas. Gear doors are also installed and hinged, and it also has the separate molded dorsal speed brake.
$1500.00 obo.
Thanks for looking!

I only have the airframe, no retracts or pipe unfortunately. I'm flying one now with a K140, but anything from a K80 to a K120 would be plenty.

Can you verify that this is the DF version and not the turbine version.

Thanks
Matt

This is a ducted fan version, but it has all the added reinforcing for turbine use. The ducted fan only version didn't have the extra carbon fiber reinforcing and it also had the smaller carbon fiber elevator pivots. This one has 1/4" steel rods installed for the pivots. I'm flying an original ducted fan version with a K140, but I added all the necessary reinforcing that Avonds recommended.

I am surprised this has not sold yet. Such a great plane. So much work already done.

Thanks, I'm actually surprised myself. I suppose the trend now is to go with huge jets maybe its not as desirable as it once was. It won't break my heart if I have to keep it, but I thought someone could get some use out of it instead of it sitting in storage.

Default I

if I didn’t have 3 jets in-front of it I would take it. I really want an F-15. I have family that flies them.

Understand! Too many jets, too little time! I used to live in Goldsboro, NC (Home of Seymour Johnson AFB) for about ten years, and of course I had to have an F-15! My avatar is a Seymour Johnson AFB F-15E Strike Eagle. I had several neighbors that were F-15 pilots. I think they're all flying commercial now. They loved to come visit my little F-15 model! LOL!!!

Pretty sure it could be, but it would be a pretty big box and it would most surely have to ship by large truck.

Default Shipping

I shipped out one like this built several years ago...I made a shipping container out of wood and it was the size of a coffin! I shipped it out using Forward Air trucking company and at that time it cost $150 to ship. Just an FYI.

How far are you willing to drive to meet?—Is Knoxville TN out of the question for you?...That would be a 6.5 hour drive one way for me...Let me know here or via PM...THANKS!!!...Kevin
