So I went into the hobby shop this weekend to find a newly stacked shelf of Lipos. They are pretty pricey but the manager was saying they work great for planes because of their weight reduction and run time life (up to 40 minutes folks), therefore the same aspects would apply to the automobile aspect. So anyone made the switch thus far and if so how are they performing in the cars. Thanks [8D]

i love lipos for the runtime, punch, and weight reduction. with drift tires, the difference is not as dramatic as it is with grippers. top speeds are comparable but the acceleration is bonkers. im comparing 2s lipos and 6cell nimh.

You can prolly get clost to 1 hr and a half on li-po's. Thats alot of practice.
