2300 temp problem.

When I turn on my ECU, my turbine begins to cool down imidietly....
I borrowed a terminal, and it reads 1020 C all the time.
So I tried fiddling a bit with the cables and stuff under the front cover. Strangely,If I remove the glow adapter, the temp goes to zerro.

But, if I calibrate the temp sensor with the glow adapter off, I can put it on 20 degrees C. If I heat it with a lighter, then the temps read out correctly all the way up, and down again . But as soon as I put back the glow adapter the temp goes to 1020 again

Anything I can do or check to make it work before I send it in ?

Not that I can think of...

It sounds like you might be having an issue with the RPM board, but they'll verify that at the factory when you send it in.

I called Simjet today, I talked to Mr Simjet himself, Lars.

He knew exactly what it was, as they have just recently have discused the issue. It is the temp probe.
My temp probe has split inside somehow, so it has shorted. When I put the glow adapter on, it makes a grund connection, and just goes to max temp. If I remove the propbe so it doesn`t touch the turbine casing, it all works as it should.

So Im getting a replacement probe in the mail.

Had the same conversation myself this morning...

Glad to hear you're taken care of...
