Can anyone tell me how old this model is and would it be useful
for sail boats ,can the stick be modified to control a sail servo in and out . Model fp t2ncs fp-r102je crystals ?

Hi Ken,
The 2NCS was manufactured in the late 1980's and has been discontinued for the last 5 or 6 years.
It is a legal system and would be fine for boats, but please remember that we no longer service nor carry parts for this radio.
