I purchased the rubber hand grips with my new 9CAP from Tower . I must be adhesive challenged as I cannot get the grips to fit nor stick (they appear to be the wrong size. Please wave your magic wand and give me the secret.
1. By any chance is there more than one version of the grips?
2. Where to I get one of those nice Futaba neck straps, I was told they came with the radio but I was misinformed ?
BTW, I was upgrading radios from a 7UAFS to a 9CAP. This radio is great, I love being able to assign a funtion to any switch. Futaba got it right this time.
TIA

berair,
I just put mine on this morning. The small square cutout in the rubber fits right next to the slider switches on the side. Now the adhesive is a little tricky. you will notice that the double side tape has different backing paper. Take off the stiff cardboard like paper first then it is very easy to work with. put the tape on the rubber grip first then take off the other backer and carefully apply the grip to the transmitter.
Hope this helps.

From: BLUE, HI,
Tower sells the nice Futaba straps ala carte. They are included with the higher end ZAPs.
I too made the jump from the 7UAPS to the 9C. I skipped on the 8U because it didn't have the physical feel of the 7U (it was lighter and smaller). The 9C gained some weight and size back. Just my personal preference.
