If it wasn't for JWM being the same time I would definitely be going! This is an awesome place to fly and the atmosphere is great. All the flying you can take from sun up to sun down. Perfect!

Andy, we'll really miss you and your family this year. Always nice to see familes enjoying each others interests. Also, really like your new avatar. Did you ever resolve the landing gear issues?

RT 66 Jets is pleased to announce that Ron Colbert has stepped up as Asst. CD. Due to personal circumstances David "Goose" Brawley has stepped aside, but still hopes to be able to attend and help out as he always does. Ron has attended every RT 66 event, if I remember correctly, so is well known amoung our regulars. Thank you Ron for watching my back.

Sure, Dave we'll be more than happy to CD your event, (for a SMALL fee), LOL.
Joey, if you slow fly they don't break up so badly. Easier to repair. And just to be clear, NO free fuel. Wasn't aware you we're having a problem last year. Anything you ever need help with just speak up. Jet guys are the best to lend a hand, fuel, parts, whatever. Appreciate you're confidence in me. I'll do my best to live up to it and keep everyone informed. Hope you and your family are able to attend again this year.

Nicos, we would be honored if you could visit us all the way from Cyprus some day. Meeting and being around all the foreign contestants at the JWM 2011 in Dayton, OH was an unforgetable pleasure. Below is a photo of a variety of F-16's from several different countries at that event.

Looking down the the very relaxed canopy line. RT 66 is a very laid back, take your time, fly all you want event.
This particular American flag in the foreground was flown in combat over Afghanistan onboard a B-1B bomber of the 37th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron in December 2009. Thanks goes out to Mark Basel for acquisition of this flag.
