I just wanted to post my experience with Comp-Arf. I know it is nothing new but given the recent events with purchasing from SOME jet companies I thought I would post a feel good story. I contacted Ray LaBonte about an Ultra Flash back in April and he gladly filled me in on the fact that they had a shipment coming to the states soon and that planes would be available in roughly mid June. I said great and told him I would like to order one. He took my order and a $500 deposit and I was excited to get my new UF!! Well Ray texted me yesterday to say that the planes were in the states and ready to ship out. I said thats great, sent in the balance payment and he told me he would send the order though ASAP and get my plane shipped out soon. Well guess what showed up today???? MY PLANE!!! Are you kidding me!!!?!?!?!?! A day after I paid in full I got my airplane!! I have no words really. This by far has been some of the best service I have ever gotten from a Jet company only to be rivaled by Dreamworks.

Huge shout out to Ray LaBonte and Comp-Arf, I will be a customer for a long time!!

I am looking forward to doing a build thread for this plane even though it has been done a ton of times. This will be my personal plane so I will be putting a lot of thought into things and making some custom pieces as well on the CNC, stay tuned!

I've had the same experience with my local rep (Giant Scale Aviation). Great service and the quality of the planes is fantastic.

composite-arf has the best service out of any mfg, although expensive, they will generally deliver on what the state.
I deal with Andy Kane and he is upfront about costs, delivery time, estimates..

Although I'm not happy about paying 25.00 on shipping for some springs[>:]

Comp arf is great IMO not expensive you pay for what you get and what you get from them works every time.

As long as don't get the A-4 jet, I would agree.

I dont think their prices are all that expensive. Some of the extras can be a little higher, but the cost of the flash to my door was not that bad at all. Not to mention I have the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing this plane will take everything I can throw at it.

CARF is the best bang for your $ out there ... For the most part, their planes are built stronger and fly better than much of the competition.

I like Andrea´s planes.. We bought from him a couple of Kangaroo´s in 1998 at Superman, and after 15 years I meet him in person again and thanked him for selling this memorable airplane, that still is so practical that was my only choice for attending a recent event outside my country.

I think that he can be proud of what he achieved in all those years.. Some of the happiest moments of my life happened while flying this plane.(and also some of the funniest), and think that this also happened to a lot of rc modelers too.
