Default Largest RC plane ever?

I wonder which was the largest powered RC aircraft ever built by an amateur hobbyist? Both in terms of wing span and engine power..
I have heard of a 16 feet dragon rapide and a 50% edge and a 1/2 scale cub ... anything bigger than that?

There's a 70% Staudacher out there.

I guess your "built by amateur hobbyist" criteria rules out the airliner used in crash test to evaluate fire on impact!

theres a stratofortress around the 30' mark, and a 1:1 scale jer ranger heli.
but the bigest is that airliner, 707 wasn't it?

How about that full scale airliner that they plowed in so they could test jelled fuel's combustability in the event of a crash? That was radio controlled! Lol

And for the fastest, there is the Russian shuttle, Buran! First flight was unmanned.

Later!

I think it was a 707. If I remember correctly, a fuel that had some sort of complex "lattice" molecular structure was used. It turned out to be very combustible anyway.
