Hi,
I have just bought a transmitter T6XS and everything function OK. The only think which in not so clear is activation of flaperons: it does not works as written in instruction manual:
There is written that "flap trim" FLTR is automatically turned on, if flaperon function has been activated (page 29).
This does not happen on my radio:
I go to "flaperon" FLPR; change from INH to ON. Than I exit menu and both servos (Ch1, Ch6) moves when I move aileron stick.
However if I turn Flap Knob, nothing happens.
I must go to FLTR and change from INH to ON manualy and than flap knob works fine.
Reading post on RC Universe, I have found that some people experienced the same issue.
Is it a small mistake in the instruction manual, are there various versions of this transmitter, or is it only mine, that works in strange way?
One more question: what happens if I took baterries away? Will everything be erased?
Regards,
Marian
PS. I have tried to activate flaperons as airbrake, mix 6>2, mix 2>6 and everything works fine.

Hi Marian,
There is a mistake in the manual on that radio and you are correct, you will need to manually go into Flap Trim and uninhibit it. It will not automatically come on just by making Flaperon active.
You will not lose any settings by removing the NiCd battery from your transmitter, please see our FAQ: http://www.futaba-rc.com/faq/service-faq.html#q272.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
