About 6 monts ago I got to looking at how much stuff that I was lugging back and forth to the truck and shop...Knew their had to be a better way. This is what I came up with.
Two 4x8 sheets of plywood with 8" shelving boards in between and two "huge" drawers
that are almost 4' wide 7"deep and 3' long to hold all the "goodies". Has a 12 volt power supply in the side of the bed with two sets of female banana for the field chargers.
Works for me.

P.S. I found out some time ago that there were so many things going back and forth to the field that I started cutting down. Now I put spare props, tools, glue etc. in one larger tool box, not really large at that. I have a small field box with fuel in a 1/2 gal. container, electric fuel pump, starting battery, power panel, overflow bottle for filling the tank and a cordless starter pack (Hobbico), prop wrench for preflight and nothing else. The tool box that stays in the truck has a spare corded starter and the other stuff that I might need in an emergency. All the surplus stuff is at home. TX's in their own container. Small field box goes to the pit area.

Oh I know, really wished that I had thought of it sooner...
The flight box that you see beside the box has one gallon of gas, one screwdriver, one T-handled socket wrench for 1/4 20 wing bolts, and the pump...the rest of the necessities stays in the drawers until needed..or someone else does..
Ever look at the wrench someone has out (Robart I think) that has all the nut sizes that one would ever need to do anything with in one wrench.
Thanks
Michael
