SWAC Had a Ball -- Good Info learned

Had a Ball at Southwestern Aeromodeling Conference. Attended a couple Briefings.
In the AMA Forum there is a thread that GIVES FACTS AND FIGURES for the CURRENT YEAR'S AMA Insurance payouts, premiums etc. "For your Information"
Mr. Carl Maroney gave an excellent presentation of the AMA Insurance program.
I think you might find these current figures a bit more enlightening than historical numbers in fancy auditor's documents.
Had a good discussion with Carl and Larry Johnson about Safety items. Some items will be presented to full comm. for reconsideration of wording and/or futher explanation of the restrictions on autonomous flight in the 2004 Safety Code.
I was "assured" that the restrictions would not apply to auto-pilots such as FMA.[&:]
Might be a future for AMA to start telling us more about the incidents that happen far too frequently. Anyway several of us including the good Doc himself were planting those seeds. Time will tell.
Spent too much money, talked with old friends and new friends far too much, (Can that really be done?
) and really enjoyed the days. Hope you did too.

Here are a couple pics of one BEEG ARF. Done by a group that I failed to get their literature.
In addition a couple pics. of a Blimp flying outside the show building. I think it had a couple G-23s or something like that. I am certain someone can fill in the correct info.
One pic has the blimp, and a high jet in the departure route from DFW airport.
