i had a bad crash my 401 got hit by a blade the case is broke and half gone my question is is it worth it to have if fix or am i better off buying a new one ?

do you have a limit on what it cost before you say it's no good ?
do you have a trade in offer ?

i have not tested it so I don't know if it works

If the unit has any broken components or circuit boards, it's very likely that repairs could go as high as a new unit. For an evaluation, you can always send it in.
