4*60
#4
It' the SIG Four Star 60. This was my first kit build and it was great. It was also a very easy first low wing plane to transition into from a high wing trainer. If you do a search in the kits forum on 4 star 60 you will come up with a lot of info.
Here is mine, may she R.I.P.

Here's mine, truely one of the best planes I think I've ever owned.
Unfortunately, a finneky super tiger .90 decided to call it quits, and planted her hard.
I think it's time to let go, and buy another kit.. (they're relatively cheap, and build in no time!!)

I love my 4*60. My first kit, first plane (besides a borrowed trainer for a flight or two). I put mine in hard on Monday (deadstick way out into the wind...no chance to get back to the runway) and she floated down (with help) and tore off the landing gear. Gotta say, not a single bad word from my mouth about the 4* line (besides the instructions could be elaborated on slightly...)

I don't know what you want do do with the plane in the aerobatic arena, but I put the OS 91 Surpass on it and it flies great. Plenty of power, but very stable and easy to handle even with the larger engine. I would recommend that you consider at least a 91 in it.
