KMP GEE BEE 71" AKONDOR ?
I just purchased a GEE BEE 71" wing by KMP! I'm Hoping AKONDOR sees this and gives me some advice, also anyone else who might have flight time on this plane. I plan to put a 120 size FS in the plane. Brand probably Saito. Just wondering if anyone has tried a large 2 stroke for top end speed? Or even larger then 120 FS. I haven't receive the plane yet and want to get as much imput as I can on the plane before I start the build. Any advice on the plane or building tips or hints would be appreciated. Thanks ALL

Been looking at Saito 120's thinking about 150's to help weigh down the front... BUT SO MUCH FUEL>>>>>

My customers are using 1.20's with great results, seems to balance perfectly with them.
The firewall and cowl are so big, you could even install a G26, no problem.
We learned of a way recently to greatly strengthen the GB landing gear for those guys flying offf grass.......drop me an email.
