I bought some of the new Ultracote orange paint that is supposed to be a match for the Orange Ultracoat I covered part of a plane in.
Started to use it last night, and the paint color is even in the same ballpark. Sort of like the cubs and the world series.
I have used the Top Flite paint in the past to match ultracote on the true red, does anyone know if the Top Flite orange is a close match for orange ultracote, or of some other paint that is???
Thanks guys.

Might try Chevron paints. I gave up on Lusterkote a long time ago. Think their website is www.perfectpaint.com. Their matching Ultrakote orange paint is part number CHE 708. Tower sells their products.

I gave up on them a long time ago. I couldn't get them or TF paints to match ever. I now just take a piece of covering, iron it on a piece of scrap, take it to the auto paint shop and have them mix me up the color I want and put it in a rattle can. Costs about the same and I have never had one not match. They have always been dead on! Works well.
