If You Shot Someone Down?
I changed the poll, I think it is pretty self explanatory. My original poll was not nice so I changed it.

I'd take it like a man and keep my mouth shut, call my lawyer, and let him weasel me out of it.

Just kidding, just kidding, I couldn't help myself. I would own up to it if I had all the facts and evidence proving that I was at fault. Like the fear of coming to a fun-fly, opening my transmitter case, finding my radio on, then hearing the sound of a watermelon hitting the ground.[:@] I just hope that the witnesses and owner would be equally honest and respectful.

I owned up to it 
. Lucky for me, It was an ARF and the owner wasn't real happy with the airplane, so I replaced the carb that broke and then built & set-up his next plane (hanger9 Cap) for him.
I can tell you now though, I make sure I have the pin!!!!!!

How about if no one but YOU knew that you were the culprit.
How bout if your wife is a judge....
Was the guy you shot down a "made man" ?
Was the flyer a priest or rabbi ?
Was the flyer an orphan or widow?
Was the flyer you shot down making a play for your wife?
Was he an arrogant sob that shot down 5 planes himself and didn't own up ?
The world's not black and white ya' know

Your post is basically saying that either you do it your way, or you are a weasle.
Personally, I think that if you shoot someone down, you are morally, if not legally responsible, but the wording of your choices is over the line.
