Default foam blocks

Any help appreciated in locating a source for foam for cutting my own wings ect. I am in Iowa, but would consider getting from anywhere.

Try the Composites Store, they may have a dealer in their listing that is near you

Or [link=http://www.aircraft-spruce.com/]Aircraft Spruce and Specialties[/link]

Because of shipping fees and the 30 lb rule, hopefully you can find a plastic and foam dealer in your area.

Depending on thickness....I am pretty sure that Home Depot and Lowes carry it up to 2 inches thick in 4 x8 sheets..........

One other source is Architectural Concrete or anyone that deals with stone. They use foam for cushioning, and would have large supply of it. Will probably give it to you if you ask.....Just a thought

I've been getting it from my local outdoor sports store. They use it around here for bow and arrow shooting practice. You can get a large block of 4'x4'X2' for $40. Jon

4"x4'x8' was $30 at a local Independently owned ACE lumberyard. Also think about 1/8" birch door skin if your into scratch building for formers , doublers etc..
