NO. IT is illegl to change crystals to different frequency'75 mhz to 72mhz yourself. You will need to send the radio back to the manufacture to be re-tunned. The only radios that I know you can do it yourself is on the Jr computer radios with a removable module and you can send in the reciever if you need more than 3 channels or you don't. You can use any 3 channel S pcm or Z pcm only.

To change a non-module transmitter and receiver from 75 MHz to 72 MHz requires a crystal change AND retuning. Legalities aside, just changing crystals would result in severely-weakened output on the transmitter, and very poor reception by the receiver.
If you just changed crystals and tried to fly, your model would run out of range very quickly (by the end of the runway, if that). A crash is is a virtual certainty.
