battery power failure to Rx and servos

I was at the field and 2 planes went down they said they got a hit and one pilot said if your plane loses battery power the servos goes crazy and causes the plane to go in the ground and you have no control, if you lose battery would not the servos stop moving

Not immediately. When you start to lose battery power, your receiver loses the ability to read the signal from the transmitter and your servo movement will become more erratic with the loss of power.
