i got my evader used about 1 week ago..its great, i love it. anyways, i noticed that the spring on the slipper thingy is pretty tiight, maybe 80% tight. i have ran my evader about 6 times so far, jumped it, and still no problems. should i loosen it a bit, or is it ok?

If it's not broken don't fix it. Beside's a tight slipper is nice for wheelie's

And smooth toothless granny gears after a few runs. =]

Tighten it up until your diff slips instead of the slipper, then loosen it off a little so that it is your slipper slipping instead of the diff.

if your just goin on grass or dirt or the road tighten the hell out of it. BUT if your driving where u can get hung up and stuck on somethin like trees or roots loosen it so it will slip if u gun it when its hung up lol if its reallllly tight u will tare your spure teeth off lol.

I just put my truck back together and ran into a snag. When I really give it Throttle, it seems like the Slipper clutch is slipping. I can actually put my foot in front of the Trcuk, and when I accelerate even just alittle the clucth slips. If I accelerate to fast or sudden the truck doesnt really move all that fast..I Had the Slipper as tight as I could turn it...The Slipper pad doesnt look any different then it did Brand new. Im wondering if I may have ran it to tight in a previous run and wore the pad to thin to do its job. I have more on the way and should be in today but I was more making sure that that could be the only issue and it didnt have anything to do with the Diff. as I Replaced all the Gears in the gear box as well.

You may have reassembled the slipper wrong. Check the manual to make sure you have it exactly as pictured.
Other than that, figure out exactly where it is slipping. Is the spur turning? The topshaft behind the spur? One of the outdrives of the tranny?
This should lead you to your problem.
